Conceived ten years after “Shouldn’t You Be Working?”, “Clocking in for the evening shift.” (clockeve, in short) is a new interface readymade, this time extracted from Claude. The promise of AI, and of automation in general, was always to free us from work, and here we are, working late, teased by our chatbot assistant in the jargon of the factory floor.
